Refund Policy

This policy explains how refunds work for coin purchases made on PromptLibrary. It applies to consumers in the UK and is intended to reflect the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which give consumers certain rights when buying digital content online.
1. Coins Are Digital Content
Coins are supplied to you electronically and are treated as "digital content" under UK consumer law, not physical goods. This affects your right to cancel, explained below.
2. Your 14-Day Right to Cancel
Under UK law, when you buy digital content online you normally have 14 days to change your mind and request a full refund, provided you have not started using it yet. However, by submitting a coin purchase request on this site, you acknowledge and agree that:
- once your coins are credited to your account, you are able to start using them immediately; and
- if you use any part of your coins (e.g. unlock a Premium Prompt) before the 14-day period ends, you lose your right to cancel that purchase.
If you have not used any of the coins from a purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the coins being credited by contacting us via our Contact Us page.
3. Once Coins Have Been Spent
Coins that have already been spent to unlock a Premium Prompt are non-refundable, since the digital content (the unlocked prompt) has been delivered and accessed. This is standard practice for digital goods and reflects the law referenced above.
4. Faulty or Misrepresented Payments
If you believe you were charged coins in error, a payment wasn't credited correctly, or a Premium Prompt was seriously misrepresented (for example, the unlocked content was blank, broken, or clearly not what was advertised), please contact us within 14 days of the issue. We will investigate and, where appropriate, issue a coin refund or credit at our discretion.
5. Payment Not Yet Approved
If you submitted a coin purchase request that has not yet been approved and you wish to cancel it, simply contact us before it is approved and no charge will be applied on our end (note: if you already sent money via PayPal or bank transfer, you may need to seek a refund via that payment method directly if we haven't processed your request yet).
6. How to Request a Refund
Email us via the Contact Us page with your username, the date of purchase, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
7. Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your other statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
